Jimmy McNeil was born in Houston, Texas on July 22, 1960. At the age of 13 his family relocated to Bay City, Texas and it was there on February 26, 1975 that he met and received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, later surrendering to full time ministry, Jimmy enrolled in Arlington Baptist College in the fall of 1978. Upon graduation in 1983, he entered full time ministry as youth pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Ft. Worth, Texas. He later became Senior Pastor of Faith Baptist church in Graham, Texas then Co-Pastor and then Sr Pastor of the Bible Baptist Church in Kissimmee, Florida. In July of 2008, he returned to Texas to assume the role of Executive Pastor of PBC.

Bro. McNeil has been married to his wife Susan, since May 14, 1982. The Lord has blessed them with 4 children. Aaron (21), Aimee (20), both of which are students at Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida. They also have 2 other sons at home, Austin (12) and Alex (10).
