Chris was born and raised just outside of Houston , Texas , and graduated from Deer Park High School in 2002.  While living in Deer Park he was active in athletics as well as in his youth group.  He earned a BA in Christian Studies and Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and is currently working on a Master of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He served as student ministry intern at First Baptist Church of Temple, Texas for two years and since 2006 he currently serves as Minister to Students here at Pleasantview.

 Chris is currently a resident of Fort Worth Texas , where he lives happily married to his wife Ashley.
